In 2020, One Mind At A Time Foundation (OMAAT) was established as a non-profit organization in Washington, DC to help overcome barriers faced by at-risk residents. This organization is an extension of the decades of outreach and developmental services provided to returning citizens by founder Curtis Chambers.

As founder Mr. Chambers has educated, serviced and provided resources to hundreds of returning citizens. OMAAT also serves as a referral organization to local organizations and contacts for returning citizens to services related to COVID, employment, training and housing.

The mission of the organization is to provide community support to at-risk residents (youth, returning citizens, homeless) in Washington, DC and their families.  OMAAT’s vision is to build bridges between at-risk citizens and the resources to thrive in society.
